At Vila Rova we truly live what we do. The foundation of our cuisine is to pass on the richness of the island of Krk, to the plate. From our own olive oil to the herbs we forage ourselves, we are dedicated to using seasonal and local ingredients. We strive to use the entire ingredient and we truly enjoy this creative challenge. To shorten the journey from farm to table, we source ingredients whenever possible from our immediate surroundings and directly from small producers. We transform food surplus into new, creative dishes.

Awarded as Talent of the year in 2024 by Gault& Millau restaurant guide and best chef of Kvarner by Kvarner Tourist Board, chef Marin Pleše, originally from Malinska, aims to intrigue guests with his dishes and introduce them to culinary identity of Krk through the fullness of flavours he grew up with.
