We consider all your information to be confidential and will not disclose your identity to third parties. We may disclose your information where we are legally obliged to do so in order to comply with applicable laws or instructions from government authorities. The data we collect includes your full name, email address, telephone number, mobile number, credit or debit card information, your preferences (such as allergies and intolerances to certain types of food), and exceptionally other information (such as business address and phone number).
Data collecting and purpose of data processing
We gather information and data about potential guests from various sources (email communication, online reservations, telephone or in-person conversations) in order to provide a personalized experience and recognizable quality service. For security reasons, the premises of Restaurant Vila Rova are under video surveillance. We do not conduct automated data processing.
Storage of personal data
We process your personal data in our home country, the Republic of Croatia, and we keep them only for the legally required minimum period, unless otherwise specified by law in specific cases. Electronically collected and stored data are permanently deleted immediately after the expiration of your (potential) reservation, while printed information is destroyed. Your personal data are not disclosed to third parties. For the purpose of providing personalized service, and if you are our loyal and frequent guest, we may retain your data for up to three years with your prior consent. There is video surveillance in the restaurant premises, and the recordings are overwritten every 15 days. Access to the recordings is only permitted to authorized personnel, and if there is a legitimate reason (security or legal nature), the recordings will be analyzed by authorized individuals and government authorities.
Use of Cookies and Website Settings
We use cookies to enhance and improve the browsing experience on our website. Our cookies will not identify the user, and by accepting them, you give us consent to process the data solely for analytical and statistical purposes (e.g., location from which the user connects to our website, time of visit, etc.). If you do not wish us to collect such information, you can delete and/or disable them permanently on your computer or mobile device at any time. Any information we collect during your reservation or website visit is protected by secure (HTTPS) protocol.
User Rights
